Autumn Dining

October has already started. It is colder here, but sometimes a little hot in the daytime.
Umm.... it makes me waver which clothes I should wear every morning.
I should go out and get some new clothes..hehe;-D
Before that, it is much easier to get the autumn foods.

I highly recommend you to come to Japan in Autumn to enjoy the seasonal foods.
Yes, the cherry blossom season would be nice timing, but for Japanese food lovers, Autumn is one of good choices. Fish is better in the colder season here.

I shopped around the food floor in the department and found many kinds of Autumn Food materials that looks really nice. No.1 Japanese Autumn Food must be MATSUTAKE. It is a kind of mushroom. It is really expensive. I can not buy Japanese one at all... cause it is over JPY10,000 !!!! Wow.

I got this pic from the web-shop. JPY10,000 for above 6pcs. So, this would be the alternative for me...
Most probably imported Matutake.
Japan imports Matsutake from USA, CANADA, KOREA, CHINA, even SWEDEN recently.
If you find Matsutake in your country, the export might be a good biz, haha.

And, I can say the most popular fish in Autumn is this.


Sanma (Japanese) Sushi ;-D

Only JPY298 for 1 package (after discounted). Good deal. I can't wait eating later.
Sanma (pacific saury) can be eaten in fresh only in case of very fresh material.
Only available in some monthes of Autumn. So, need to eat now a lot. hehe.

Also, Fruit is good in Autumn with much more varieties.
A grape is Autumn Fruit. I choose a little exensive one today.


I picked up some already and ate them. These are so sweet. I love it.
